We are creating an
Interactive Touch Screen Kiosk for the Ken Olsen Science Center on
the campus of Gordon College in Wenham, MA.
Within the Kiosk’s
database, we hope to collect, catalog and preserve memories and
messages from as many former DEC employees as possible. From the
Kiosk screen, future visitors to the Center will be able to access
your stories, comments, impressions and experiences about your
careers at DEC.
Do you have a
memory you’d like to share? Do you have a message, in writing, on
video or on audio for your fellow DEC alumni or for future
generations? Write it down, shoot it, record it, add photos- then
send to us by mail or e-mail. Send us your photos. We will accept
all mediums and all formats.

What we are looking for in
creating this Kiosk is a space where all former DEC employees can
have a page to say whatever they like about their years at the
company. The message can be as personal as they want- or relate to
their function in the company. Essentially, it is a chance for them
to leave something of themselves and their experience behind for
researchers, fellow employees and/or future generations.
Some may want to tell a story.
Others may want to post photographs, or a video of a company
picnic, etc. We'd like to keep this as open as possible, and
let people decide what they think is important to share, as well
the medium they want to express themselves in.
Digital was its employees. We
hope they will use this as their space to leave a record of what
Digital meant to them.
