Colorado Springs (CXO) 18th DEC Reunion - October 2022
Following the COVID pandemic, the CXO team put together one final reunion party on October 21, 2022. It was the 18th Reunion they ran and another successful get-together at the Dublin House in Colorado Springs. The planning team of Lorrie Marzulla, Theresa Cordova, Maureen Cicione Burness, and Rob Stubblefield with their volunteers did an outstanding job over the years and have earned our gratitude! It included a huge memorabilia giveaway but many of their remaining prized items were then donated to DEC Connection, which has placed them in the Town of Maynard Historical Society Museum.

Our CXO Reunion was a success = 171+ people came!
Our gracious photographer, Don Jones, took 257 pictures (a few below) and Rob Stubblefield, keeper of our distribution list, sent them out. And, as usual, Lorrie Marzulla gathered the troops to set up our memorabilia and took care of our reception table and made sure reminders were sent out as well as taking care of all the other hidden details. Once again, thank you for the DEC Connection's contribution. It certainly helped to make our gathering successful.

The reunion was held and many thanks to those that continue to attend and help keep this annual reunion a strong tradition! The Academy Hotel is paid, the coffee mug memorabilia has been reduced and we had 125 attendees. This headcount is continuing to trend downwards but we still had first time attendees. Keep up the good work in relaying info. on this event and hope to see you next year.

Note 15th Reunion SAVE THE DATE: Thursday, April 27, 2017 – NO LONGER ON FRIDAYS.

The reunion was held and many thanks to those that continue to attend and help keep this annual reunion a strong tradition! Colorado Springs (CXO) 13th Annual DEC Reunion
Friday, April 24, 2015 5:00 to 9:00 pm, The Academy Hotel (the old Sheraton), Colorado Springs

The Reunion was down on attendance this year at 146, but everyone who came had a great time. Thanks to Lorrie, Moe, and Theresa, who put this together. Even though the attendance is down there are still new people who appear out of nowhere and want to be added to the distribution. There are currently 1107 names on the list for these events! Amazing how the interest and family feeling remains after all these years. Since there are many new members and many of you didn't read my previous incredibly entertaining messages I'll share with new and old (most of you!) how to use the list and the Shutterfly URL for the pictures.

Great news! Roger Reich reports that the DEC team in Colorado can feel a bit of pride as the RA90 has been added to San Jose Computer Museum as the first 9" disk drive in history. Tom Burniece (tburniece@aol.com) was key to getting our work recognized. roger.reich@usa.net

The CX01 and CX02 buildings were disassembled by HP during the summer of 2012. Here are some photos xubmitted by Stephen Lambert saldec@aol.com. Souvenir bricks were made available to former employees in August.
